Just recently got in the oil relocation from TPE and a brand new set of tires all around for the car. I’m going to run the Nitto NT05 DR in the back and the NT555 extreme in the front. The car is on stands in the garage, and the other corvette (1998 blue one) is for sale. Things will go fast now, hopefully!

Texas Mile Update
Wednesday, February 17th, 2010Nice Weather Moves in: I smile.
Thursday, February 5th, 2009Looks like we’re going to have a few days (up to 4!) in the mid 40’s. This is a welcome warm up for those of who drive sports cars. As a bonus, since the roads were already dry, you get a few solid days of nasty-free driving on clean roads! Woot! In other news, I’m going to get the windows Tinted in the vette- it’s time and I’m finally at peace with it. Why would such a choice be so nerve racking? Well, you’ve got a lot of factors playing in:
The last is a concern because I do want to go pretty dark. If you know me you know I have a plan to black out the HALO section of the roof (the only part that isn’t glass or a removable top) and use the black top on it. It should give it the effect of a two tone paint job, and look pretty sweet IMHO.
Inspiration from Weird Places..
Wednesday, January 21st, 2009Dug out some photos for a “post your b&w photo” thread on a message board and took a photo I had actually marked for deletion and created one of my favorite photos so far:

Made me want to go back through my old photos and rethink trashing some of them. Can’t wait to take new pictures with no Body side mouldings etc..
You can get a full size background style image in 1920×1200 here.

Corvette Blitz
Wednesday, January 7th, 2009Today and tomorrow is a blitz of effort to get something done on the corvette. What exactly you may ask? A new cam. I’ve picked out an England Green Mayhem cam along with some Patriot Xtreme springs, comp push rods, high flow oil pump, under drive pulleys and a few other goodies. I’m hoping the cam swap is done by tomorrow night. I’ll update this post with bits and pictures as I go tonight and tomorrow. My buddy Derek will be helping me out, which is great because he’s actually got experience with cams.. (about 5 of them, actually)
Anyway, check back Friday morning for a video of it running (I hope!)
